Envelopes for Uniform Items, Rose Parade, & FTCs
We just traveled for the first time this school year on buses. Please turn in your transportation envelopes. If you are needing a blank envelope, they are available in Mrs. C's office for payments towards uniform items, Rose Parade, and FTCs. Any student needing assistance with uniforms, Rose Parade, or FTCs, please see Mrs. C.
Rose Parade - $362 total. Did you hear the great news? In addition to performing at Pasadena City College for Bandfest and the legendary 133rd Tournament of Roses Parade, we are going to Disneyland! Disneyland has been given permission to host the Rose Parade Bands this December. We will find out soon the day we will be performing down Main Street in the Holiday Parade, so don't purchase a ticket just yet to the park. It's going to be a memorable December and January for all of us! With the addition of us performing at Disneyland, there is an extra $62 for each student. This will cover their ticket to Disneyland and bus trip. What a GREAT deal! Any student needing assistance with the Rose Parade days, please see Mrs. C.

Mira Mesa Field Tournament - November 6th - Information
Our next Parent Meeting is Thursday, October 28th at 7:00 pm in the Band room (801). This is our official tournament meeting for families. We are hosting our 29th Annual Mira Mesa Invitational Field Tournament on Saturday, November 6th. This is the largest single day event we host. It takes a village to run the Sapphire Sound program and tournament day is a “homecoming” for many alumni and parents. We rely on current parents and family members to help volunteer on tournament day to help things run smoothly. Please CLICK HERE to sign up to volunteer. Your support is appreciated!
Trophy Sponsors - Now is your chance to sponsor a trophy on behalf of your family, student, or self. We appreciate your support! CLICK HERE to sponsor a trophy.
The Sapphire Sound students and staff make me proud and honored to be their director. This is a special group of individuals. They understand what the past year was like and they know they do not want to go back there ever again. We are making music and watching visually stunning routines by the color guard. We are learning to improve our individual skills and enjoying being a part of a group. We are the Blue Team. We are becoming a family once again. What a great family it is to be a part of!
Have a great week!
