Attached is the CALL SHEET for our Disneyland trip! Students will wear school appropriate clothes all day. We will have parent chaperones present on the day of the event. Students will not be required to be with an adult all-day but will be required to be with at least three peers all day. Students need to check in with an adult at the start of the day, before the workshop, and at the end of the day.
Parents! If you are interested in chaperoning the event, click the link below. Chaperoning will include helping with attendance at the start, middle, and end of the day. We are only permitted to have 4 adults in the workshop with the students so chaperoning does not guarantee that you will be able to watch the clinic. Once we enter the park you are free to enjoy a day in California Adventure!

Vertical Raise Fundraiser for Marching Band Props/Design
We are starting a new donation drive this year that will be used to help support the fall marching band props and show design. The amount that we raise with this fundraiser will directly determine how many props/design elements we can afford for the marching band show. All you have to do is collect 20 emails and 10 phone numbers (contact information should be from adults). This information is due by next Monday (3/2) in class. Attached is a fundraiser sheet with more information!

We are getting ready to plan the 2026 - 2027 school year. This is a great time to get involved. Each year there is a committee of adults who volunteer to be a part of the MMIMB Parent Booster Board.
A slate will be put together at the end of March. We would love for you to consider being a part of this important transition year. You will help support the band director, Sapphire Sound staff, and students in all of their performances and events throughout the school year.
If you are interested in supporting the Sapphire Sound Band & Color Guard program, please contact Kristen Elgo at: president@mmimb.org
Congratulations to the symphony orchestra on an outstanding and successful performance at the National Orchestra Conference! We are incredibly proud of your achievement and hope that you all had an amazing experience on the trip. In other exciting news, the Wind Ensemble will be traveling to Fullerton this Friday for their upcoming festival. Please be sure to plan accordingly and arrive on time, prepared for a full day. Additionally, we will be taking group photos during all band classes on Friday, so every student must come dressed in formal concert attire.
