SAPPHIRE SOUND PICTURE DAY - Monday, October 12 - This is a non-instructional day, so we will take our formal group picture in the morning followed by section photos, individual, and buddy pictures.

Senior Banners!

Senior Banners:

This year we are offering a senior banner to any senior who is interested. We will be taking photos for the banners on Thursday after school starting at 3:30 pm. Seniors, report to the uniform room to change into Class A's at the time below to change into uniform and take your photo. The banners cost $50 to produce. If you would like one, please come with cash, check, or card to purchase. Regardless of payment, each senior will receive a headshot in class A uniform!

Current Fundraisers

Popcorn/Gift Wrap Fundraiser:

Our Popcorn and Gift Wrap online fundraisers start this week Tuesday 9/7/26 and end Friday 10/9/26.  All orders will be shipped directly to customers.  

Funds raised from individual store links will go toward student FTCs.

To participate, students should register asap and share out their online store links to family/friends via text, email, and social media.

Dudley's Bread Fundraiser

It only takes a minute to ask someone if they like bread, cookies, and pies. The fundraiser will take place from October 23rd until November 5th. We will hand out the bread/pies on November 19th so you can go into Thanksgiving break with all the baked goods you could ever need!

The Sapphire Sound attends and supports the school at every home football game. We are looking for parent support to make sure the students are set up for success. If you are available on a Friday night and interested in helping the band, sign up below!

Bus Volunteers:

All Bus volunteer spots have been filled by uniform crew and our color guard coordinators.

Musubi Monday!

On Mondays during the school year, students have the opportunity to purchase spam musubi at lunch. It takes a volunteer crew of parents and alumni parents each week to make sure there is enough to sell. It only takes about an hour of your time to help out. We are SO GRATEFUL to Kris Tokunaga for heading up this committee each week. The first Monday we will begin, is August 17th. If you are able to volunteer, please email Kris at: kristok4@gmail.com

In the Director's Corner 

What an exciting week, Sapphire Sound! Our first competition is finally here! We have worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and I am so excited to see everyone take the field and show off all of that hard work. 

We also started a new fundraiser this week. Thank you to everyone who has already gotten involved! Remember, your fundraising efforts go directly toward your band account and can help with FTCs or upcoming trips.

I will also be sending home FTC envelopes with the current balance for each student account. Please take a look when you receive yours, and reach out if you have any questions.

Let’s have a great first competition, Sapphire Sound! Stay focused, bring the energy, and go show everyone what we can do!
