Tuxedos & Formal Concert Attire
Thank you to Sondra Newton and the uniform team of parents for sizing students last Tuesday and Wednesday for our formal concert attire. Those students who were sized were given a form with what they may need, or want, to order. To view the order form that will be sent home with the student, CLICK HERE. You are welcome to purchase any concert attire items individually outside of the MMIMB as well. Students who need assistance, please talk with Mrs. C.
If you would like to place the order at this week's Parent Meeting on Wednesday, then please be sure to bring the form with you.
In the Director's Corner
The CASMEC (music education conference) took place in Sacramento this past weekend. Logan Fleming, Austin Galon, Madilyn Hunter, Kyler Nguyen, Max Patri, and Ash Villanova traveled to Sacramento to participate in the CBDA All-State Honor Bands! They did a wonderful job of rehearsing with peer student musicians from around the state and they had a fantastic performance on Sunday at the Honor Concerts. Congratulations!
Period 0 is now for 9th graders and those in the other grade levels who are selecting to stay in the class. We just passed the first two weeks of the semester with both 9th and 10th graders. 10th graders will continue to be required to attend on Fridays for the remainder of the semester, but they can elect to be independent on the other mornings. If you need to drop students off, please know all grade levels are welcome to come into the 800 bldg. during period 0, as long as they do not interrupt the 9th grade class instruction.
We have our first Parent Meeting of the spring semester on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm. Our last meeting was in November before championships, so there's a lot of positive moments to reflect on with championships and Hawaii. Let's celebrate our student accomplishments and discuss what's ahead of us this spring. I hope to see you at the meeting!
All In, Always.
💙💛,
Mrs. C
