What is Color Guard?
What is Color Guard?
Color Guard is a dance based activity that performs each fall semester with the Marching Band in field and parade performances. Students not only learn dance fundamentals of ballet, modern, and jazz, but they also create the "color" of the music by learning to use flags through a variety of techniques, along with prop rifles and sabres. The Color Guard moves indoors for the spring semester and their competitive season is called Winter Guard.
We are fortunate to have a world-class staff as the instructors for our team!
